You Do Me Too Much Honor, Sire.

My Klug-brother Hal over at The Horn Section was kind (intoxicated) enough to share the glow of his Superior Scribbler award with me for my thought-provoking treatise on "Quincy, M.E." (i.e. my frightening brain damage).

I might have to return the unused portion of my award for a full refund when it's discovered that I'm only a Middling Scribbler, but I'll ride the high while I can.

Fortunately, the credo of the award is "pass it on," so I can redeem myself and my miniscule contributions by pointing out some deserving bloggers who've been tirelessly posting brilliant stuff.

John K Stuff: John Kricfalusi's (of "Ren & Stimpy" fame) in-depth and impassioned explorations of drawing and animation. If you love golden-age animation and comics, his blog is a must.

WIEC: When Is Evil Cool?: Pop-culture master Chris at wiec? has everything you need. His unique observations and devilish writing style make every entry a good read. He sucked me in with his clever takes on the films "Alien" and "The Warriors." 

Paperkraft.net: If you haven't embraced the madness of paper-toys, I highly recommend you start. Ron's blog celebrates and keeps track of these addictive print-cut-fold beasties as they hatch. No small task.

Super Punch: John delivers the right dose of madness and visual mayhem through his blog, making the world a better place.
